I am happy to assist with the translation of Semitic texts for all Arabic-speaking students and researchers in linguistic and historical disciplines (Publication Policy). You can also contact and follow me through the following platforms:
A researcher, writer, and translator, born on March 10, 1990, in Homs, Syria. I graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2014 and have been working in translation since 2015.
Driven by a lifelong passion for Semitic languages, I began studying them during my first year at university. I started learning Syriac and then moved on to Aramaic and Hebrew under the guidance of Professor Firas Al-Sawah. I focused on Biblical Hebrew and later Mishnaic Hebrew and Talmudic Aramaic. Eventually, I delved into Ugaritic, which I have been translating and studying since 2021.
Alongside Ugaritic texts, I am currently working on providing accurate and neutral Arabic translations of Hebrew and Aramaic texts, particularly Midrashic texts. Some of these translations are published in the series “Stories from the Midrash” on the Dalet: Translations and Studies website. This platform is part of my personal project aimed at offering Arabic readers well-researched translations of historical and religious texts that have shaped the cultural heritage of the Levant. I also continue my studies in ancient Semitic languages and have attended related academic courses at German universities.
In addition to ancient Semitic languages, I speak English and have some proficiency in modern Hebrew and German. I have been married since 2013 and have lived in Germany since 2017.
